Hello Shadedil,

I hear your points, and I will do my best to answer your question. I'll break it into two parts...

I see a major assumption being made here. 1) The assumption is with regard to what your or 'the' "goal" is. I don't wish to assume to know what you perceive that "goal" to be. But based on the general theme of this whole topic, I gather you are referring to the "goal" of "enlightenment". And that's the assumption I have to raise an issue with. What is this "enlightenment" people speak of, and on what basis are you so convinced this is "the" goal, especially "the ultimate goal"?

What I will pass to you is this. As far as I can determine, when your spirit took on the mighty challenge of incarnating into this realm, it made a very specific and exacting agreement with the Divine Creative Intelligence as to what you would do here. Are you conscious of exactly what your soul agreement is? Are you living that? Are you totally engaged with that?

I ask this, because it is my understanding that entering some kind of "enlightened state" (as the end goal that it's often presented as) is very rarely why most souls are here. I am aware that to people who are spiritually sophisticated that might sound like an odd thing to say... but there you go.

I don't claim to have first hand experience of what goes on at the Oneness facility. I do have first hand experience of deeksha and viewing people giving/receiving deeska. What I see playing out is a subtle form of spiritual manipulation, and the harvesting of dormant/denied/degraded spiritual energy. It appears to me most people involved in Deeksha have no clue what is playing out, and simply take the words of Sri B. at face value. That, to me, is a grave mistake resulting from spiritual ignorance.

Of course, each soul to his/her own. My role here is not to speak out against anyone, but is instead to expand perspective on matters so people can make their choices in a way more aligned with reality.

I could rattle off a good many reasons. But I am concern you might not have the necessary spiritual sensibility to not take them in the wrong way. That you are willingly involved in something that you believe is doing one thing to you, when it is in fact doing something quite different, suggests to me this could be a delicate subject for you. I am going to assume that is the case, and simply say something more generalised...

From my perspective there are no shortcuts to our redemption from forgetting the ways of the Divine Mother. We are in Her realm, and we must follow her 'rules of engagement', in just the same way we have to deal with the "rules" of gravity, motion, inertia, etc. Deeksha, as far as I can tell, does not fall into any category of her 'rulings'.

Sacred alliance - Yes.

Self-investigation - Yes.

Fully acknowledgement/confession of our shadow - Yes.

Integration of our luminous body and soul fragments - Yes.

Engaging in sacred reciprocity for EVERYTHING we receive as spirits in the human experience - Yes.

Receiving energy from an infiltrated alien force in the upper astral realms, aligned with dark entities engaged in an evil agenda of harvesting precious human spiritual energy (given by the Mother for that Human spirit), in order to shortcut our way into some kind of spiritually sublimated state of enlightenment (without doing the above mentioned things). Nope. Sorry. Return to Start.

I hope I have put that clearly enough, without being too confronting to that part of you that believes the Deeksha shortcut will help you toward your spiritual salvation.

As a coin has two sides so does the oneness movement has, even I agree. But in the meanwhile if it is helping us to reach our ultimate goal why shouldnt we follow it and the teachings of oneness. It is one of the only organisations which I belive that can produce logical and scientific reasons for the actions in the well planned courses carried on there. And as far as Deeksha is concerned it has its own power, the only way out is to experience the same. The explanations for the negative side is where there is greed for more there is always destruction. So even in the seva if you exceed the limits the experiences shared above come into existence. Do in proper limits and practically. I would rather say Sri Bhagavan and Amma never ever said to disturb your family and social life and full on be with the oneness flow. The moola in oneness is the RELATIONSHIP with your parents, surrounding and god. So there comes no question of defaming or blaming any body. Thank You.

I recently met a very clairvoyant man who told me what he saw happens during Deeksha. He saw that energy is taken from the 1st and 2nd chakras and sent to some beings who are off this planet. Then about 98% of the energy is returned to the crown chakra of the recipient. The other beings keep the 2% for themselves.

I'm not saying that this is what happens, I'm just telling you what he told me...

I wish to make it quite clear I am not "against" the Deeksha / Oneness Movement. I am not "for" it either. My suggestion is if people feel attracted to it then they may like to try it out. My exploration here is simply one of looking at various potential issues that might exist within the movement, or at least surround it.

I shall do a search for Anadagiri's response online.
In my experience, a quick search on Google turns up quite a lot of Oneness Movement / Deeksha related material that states things along the lines of what I have mentioned already (i.e. that doing the 21-day process etc will enlighten the participant, and that sort of thing). I accept that this may or may not be the way Bhagwan presents the work he is doing --- that this may just be the way many potentially over zealous followers present the work he is doing.

Oh btw i do not mean to suggest that they dont claim to help one to get this enlightenment just not at any given time. And thier explanation of how they achieve this is quite detailed. But the bottom line is one through grace loses thier seperate sence of identity and gains a functional state of "enlightenmet" or what ever one wants to call it. Thanks again

I thank you for the kind response and yes i was only answering the enlightened angle from the oneness movement. Others do profess the ability to "enlighten". Bhagwan says that we are ALREADY enlightened only this thought that we are not holds us back from the experience. I have never heard from anyone of any importance talk like you suggest and in fact they seem somewhat reluctant to speak of it as to not add more concepts. If you would like the "other" side to the Freddie story why not read Anadagiri's response to at least get a balance. Unless that was not what was wanted.

I gather you're comment is in reply to Andrew's one?
In regards to "no one promising enlightenment", are you making this statement purely within regards to Deeksha and the Oneness Movement? Assuming you are, I will say that I have heard and read people saying that doing the 21 day Deeksha process will result in the participant being enlightened (either immediately, or over some time later if they have deeper karmas and issues to work through first). I've also seen it publicised that receiving Deeksha (not necessarily just once) will not only facilitate a person reaching an enlightened state but will even take them "beyond enlightenment"...and this is just here within the small community of New Zealand.

You suggest I look at the facts? Actually I don't think we are dealing with facts here. In my experience, what we are dealing with is the comments, fantasies, desires, hopes, and wishful thinking of a wide range of people promoting, receiving, seeking, supporting, and even falling out with, the Oneness/Deeksha Movement.

Bullshit. No one and i mean no one promises enlightenment especially by going to India. There is only one reason for going there and that is to learn to GIVE Deeksha. To recieve it its a 15 to 20 dollar donation and often involves multiple Deekshas and very little effort. Facts...look them up please.

Excellent article. I have been wondering about these Diksha people and if it's any good. Plenty of people say good things about it, but when I heard about the guaranteed enlightenment for US$5500 red flags popped up.

From what I gather all spiritual teachers and organisations have dark secrets, bitter ex-members and blinded devotees. Robert Adams lived with Ramana Maharshi and Yogananda and said that even they treated some disciples in unspeakable ways.

So I think I'll have to do what you did and try it out for myself sometime.
